1900.Altemus.184 pages plus 24 pages adveertising other Altemus books. Sm8vo. Book in good minus condition with gray boards illustrated on front with Navy man and ship in Navy blue with red lettering. Spine has red lettering and red designs. Discoloring and some damage at front bottom corner and up 4 inches. Spine is a little faded and ends are bumped and torn a bit. Rear board is solid gray and h as same type of discoloration. Endpapers are dirty. Faded inked inscription reads "Merry Christmas to Charles B. Holtin from Aunt (? ) Dec 25, 1904.Frontispiece is blue-toned illustration entitled 'Ba ttle of Manila from the deck of the Petrel'. Title page has green flowers and details and red lettering. Many black and white illustrations. Light page browning. Book has some looseness. ; Book number is SVW23-40.
