Illustrated by Ingri and Edgar Parin D'Aulaire.280 pages.9x61/4.Book in good plus condition with blue cloth boards and black geometric de signs with two Finnish children in center. Spine has large black banner with white lettering. Little discoloring or fading on spine. Some spine end and corner wear. Not much. Nicely illustrated green and tan endpapers. Trees, bird in nest and far away cabins with boats by water's edge. Very small inked ownership of Stefan Greiff, Spring 1942.Beautiful frontidpiece of children matches DJ. Book is c lean and tight however there is natural page browning and scattered foxing. DJ is fair even thoug town with large chunks missing from spine because front is good. Also many repairable tears. Front end flap missing. ; Book number is SVC1-69.
