F. M. Lupton Publishing Company The Federal Book Co. N. D. G+/NONE. No edition or printing given. Also not dated. Interesting that Lupton Publishing is on title page and Federal Book is on spine. Red cloth boards with very nice detailed illustrations in black and green of men on horses, ships in battle and crosses rifles. Spine had three swords crossing. Front has black lettering and spine has gold and black. Pencilled ownership and address on ffep. All e ndpapers have browned natural along with last text page. Some nice b/w lined illustration s including frontispiece entitled 'Ned Gives the Captains. '. Close to center off book has a somewhat split spi ne. This happens when book is pushed to lay flat. Text is still quite tight and clean. Sloth musty scent. A story of the fight for religious freedom. ; B&W Illustrations; Small 8vo; 414 pages; NC. Bin ding is Hardcover.

Undated however inked ownership of Howard Coxsie or Howsie is dated 1901. Light green covers with dark green flowers decorate front cover and spine which also has flowers and title in gold. Lght usage showing. Spine does have some sun fading. Text is clean/tight but the paes are quite dark from cheap paper especially around page edges.
